These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to mybotsy.com and its tools, blog and newsletter (together, "My Botsy" or the "Service"), operated by YouPage LLC, a Michigan limited liability company ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
My Botsy provides free online tools and articles. We may add, change, limit or remove tools or features at any time, and we do not guarantee that any tool will always be available.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, or to harm, harass or deceive anyone;
- use lookup or checker tools to attack, overload or probe systems you are not authorized to test;
- send automated or bulk requests, scrape the Service, or try to get around rate limits, captchas or other protections;
- upload malware or content you do not have the right to use;
- interfere with the security or normal operation of the Service.
We may block access for anyone who breaks these rules.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the text, files and other data you enter into a tool. You give us permission to process it only as needed to provide the result you asked for. Please do not enter passwords you actually use, confidential business data or other sensitive information unless a tool clearly runs only in your browser.
4. Results are provided "as is"
Tool results and articles are provided for general information. We work to keep them accurate, but we do not guarantee that any result is complete, correct or suitable for a particular purpose. Check important results before relying on them. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
5. Advertising and third-party links
The Service may show ads, including ads served by Google and its partners, and may link to other websites. We are not responsible for third-party websites, products or ads. How ad partners use cookies is explained in our Privacy Policy.
6. Intellectual property
The My Botsy name, logo, design, text and software are owned by YouPage LLC or its licensors. You may share links to our pages and quote short excerpts with attribution, but you may not copy or republish the Service or its content in bulk.
7. Accounts and newsletter
If you create an account, keep your login details safe; you are responsible for activity under your account. If you subscribe to Botsy's Weekly Toolbox, you can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, YouPage LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the Service. Because the Service is free, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to US $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify YouPage LLC against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence still apply.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will change the effective date above when we do, and the updated Terms apply from that date.
