Free everyday tools for quick jobs
Fast helpers for the small jobs that come up every day.
Some jobs are too small to install an app for: making a password for a new account, checking where a QR code leads before you open it, picking a raffle winner fairly, or putting a list in reverse order.
These tools give you a real answer in a couple of seconds. A chatbot can't decode a QR image from your camera roll, and a password it types into a chat history isn't one you should trust.
Everything is free and available in 25 languages. You can use the tools without an account, and a free account raises the daily limit.

Common questions
What makes a password strong?
Length and randomness. A random 16-character password that mixes letters, numbers and symbols is far harder to crack than anything a person invents. Use a different one for every account and keep them in a password manager.
How do I pick a fair winner from a list?
Paste one name per line into the list randomizer and shuffle once. The first name is the winner. Do it in front of everyone, or take a screenshot, so nobody can say it was rerun.
